Everything’s so fucking stupid and crazy there hasn’t been much point to writing. I remember when “Progressive” didn’t mean Marxist piece of shit. I was a Democrat, fairly progressive. Randi Rhodes, Democratic Underground etc. Those were the G.W. Bush days. I hated Conservative Republicans because of their extremism and support for the illegal and downright foolish war on Iraq. I don’t like sacrificing the lives of our military personnel over the whims of men drunk on power and ignorance. I lived in the Middle East for a long time and was well aware of the end result of handing Iraq over to the Shiites. So allied with the “Progressives” I was.

I left the Democrats due to being lied to and manipulated for votes. I realized at that time what it must feel like to be black and Democrat. Things are far more clear today. Then Donald Trump became 45 and started doing something no politician had ever done in my lifetime. He exposed the deep seeded corruption and shamelessness of the Democrats and GOP alike. He exposed the Swamp and the ugly truth that had been hiding there. I knew politicians were fucked up people, but I had no expectation of the level of fuckedupness that existed.

Today the Democrat Party is the American Communist Party. The GOP is the most useless collection of shitbirds I’ve ever seen. Welcome to political Hell.

I now cautiously ally myself with a new breed of Conservative (Indi, Republican, Libertarian). Far smarter and more down to earth than those of the decades before them. Staunch in beliefs but without the rabid, knee-jerk views. Liberals of yesterday were the smart ones. Loving of facts and what’s best for the country. Liberals of today are a disgrace. BLM, Antifa, Pelosi, Shiff, AOC and the skanky floozies she consorts with called The Squid or something….Idiots, baby killers, asshat enough to vote for the most useless administration that ever darkened the DC doorway. Biden, who I always made clear was a piece of shit, has humiliated the nation with his ineptitude. His VP, Harris, a complete and total joke of a human being. This shitshow of an administration must go or this country will die. It really has become that bad. A bunch of Commie vermin trying to destroy what freedom we have, and a political opposition that doesn’t seem to care.

Now, it would be considered most reasonable for one to assume that with 32 new members in the legislature we may see some different views and visions introduced for this state. Just within the first month we already see the fog of the old ignorance obscuring the light of reason. Leave it to none other than Jon Lundberg, Bud Hulsey and our old friend Matthew Hill to make the oldest districts seem like a situation comedy. For instance, Bud Hulsey of Kingsport and his co-loser, Jon Lundberg of Bristol, decided it would be a good idea to try and introduce legislation that, get this, makes wearing a hoodie or head covering or face covering illegal. I could come up with a thousand analogies describing the level of stupidity involved here (not to mention the pure disrespect for the US Constitution) but I would think same is very clear at this point. Of course, Hulsey and Lundberg have withdrawn this laughing stock claiming that they were just misunderstood. But guys…we already know that you’re asshats. This was Par for you two. No wonder we languish in legislative obscurity. We keep electing carpetbaggers and back porch ideologues to represent our area. And if this buffoonery isn’t enough to give you a headache, Lundberg also wants to repeal the hands-free driving legislation. I guess he finds ear buds uncomfortable.

Matthew Hill. You old Son of a Fake-Ass Preacher you. All that law abiding straight guy horseshit finally came back to bite you in the ass, did it? Of course I’m not going to be writing much on the new legislators until they give me a reason, but there is a light in that darkness we call the TNGA.

Rep. Rick Staples (D-Knoxville) introduced House Bill 1610 on Monday. 

The bill would change Tennessee’s controlled substances laws to decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana statewide. It would also authorize counties to hold referendum elections to allow marijuana growing, manufacturing, delivery and retail sales within their boundaries. Notwithstanding, Samuel Hardiman at the Memphis Commercial Appeal tells us of further efforts…

When Sen. Raumesh Akbari filed a bill (SB1849/HB2389) that would legalize recreational marijuana and tax it at 12 percent, she did so more to provoke a conversation than out of actual hope the bill would pass. “We are hoping this will continue the conversation. Obviously, we want to fight for passage, but we know that the odds are stacked against us,” Akbari said of Senate Bill 1849. Marijuana reform has been slow to come to Tennessee. Plans for a medical marijuana bill stalled last year for lack of support. It has not been refiled so far this legislative session. Twenty-two states have legalized medical Marijuana, including two of Tennessee’s neighbors — Arkansas and Missouri. More than 10 states have legalized recreational marijuana.

Marijuana, of course, is an issue that has fallen victim to bipartisan cowardice in Tennessee politics for many years now. Democrats too chicken-shit to throw in their hats for fear of upsetting Republicans and Republicans too chicken-shit for fear of upsetting the back-assward, uneducated rubes that comprise the vast majority of their base in our state. Fortunately we find that we now have a few courageous legislators from both parties that comprehend the intelligence, practicality and compassion involved with the Medical and Recreational aspects of Marijuana. HB1610 and it’s SB1898 companion are still alive and well in Nashville and that alone gives me a sense of hope and yes, even appreciation, for the collective conscience of our state leaders. Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas….Might as well get on on the bus, Tennessee. We’re surrounded. ;-)_~ If you are lacking in knowledge concerning Medical Marijuana, watch this video (if you have the courage) and learn. But please bare in mind, if you comment something unholy like “these parents are just getting their kids high!” I’m going to tell you to rot in Hell with the rest of your ignorant, Satanic child-hating kind.

Yes, hopefully the broad changes in the TNGA will result in an awakening, both intellectual as well as spiritual, for our state and our people. We shall see.

Lastly, we find that invariably some type of asshattery will always exist when it comes to Tennessee politicians. Under investigation now is Democratic state Sen. Katrina Robinson. What for is yet to be established. She may have done nothing wrong as it’s par for the course for the proven corrupt FBI to falsely accuse whoever they can. Hopefully this won’t prove to be yet another stain on the State of Tennessee or the good city of Memphis.

Because I tend to be drawn closer to the unjustly persecuted due to the fact than I know how it feels to be the subject of a government witch hunt. This is how it started, why it started and how it shall end.

Donald Trump, as odd as he may be, is a far more brilliant man than anyone really knows. Like a modern Brett Maverick, always with an ace up his sleeve and the guts to back his own play. Once the shock set in that Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election, Democratic leaders sought to impeach him. Not so much to overturn an election due to sour grapes, but to protect their dirty little secrets. Trump vowed to “drain the swamp” and he has done exactly that. What we see today is the result of panic amongst the most corrupt politicians in this country. I asked myself “why”. Why would Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Mitt Romney, John Kerry, The Clintons etc. be so fearful of exposure? Because overseas money laundering and stealing from taxpayers is the very definition of High Crimes. Trump knew. I don’t know how he knew (probably Rudy) but know he did, and he has exposed the use of Ukraine and Burisma as the tub where money is washed. Why else have your progeny employed by an obscure, third world petroleum institution?

Donald Trump’s scrutiny of Ukraine and it’s leadership was the right thing to do. If a bipartisan bunch of crooked politicians are committing Federal and International crimes while involved with a government our taxpayer funds are to be given to, that’s a major issue and I, for one, am glad the President scrutinized the process. Of course, in a panic stricken haze, the culpable parties lashed out like spoiled children and started making shit up. I have news for you, it was not illegal for the President to question Ukraine about Hunter Biden’s role in Burisma and connections to Ukrainian politicians. NOT ILLEGAL. No such statute exists.

Originally it was “Russian collusion” in Hillary’s 2016 defeat. The Mueller Report provided only vagueness and conjecture. Nothing to support the wacky conspiracy theory of Russians in the woodwork. The Steele Dossier… FBI agents doing what they do best. Lying and subverting at the behest of their long time masters in the Bush/Clinton/Obama cabal. Aka The Swamp. Most of the rest is just claptrap, mostly Democratic in origin, that is so verbose and nonsensical it’s nearly impossible to follow. Politicians….. The reason we elected Donald Trump. Time for finding a way to limit terms. These Congressional monkeys are far too comfortable in their seats. Mark Twain once said “politicians and diapers should be changed often and for the same reason”.

As for Trump, he’ll walk all over this circus. A far more brilliant man than he lets on. He has an ace up his sleeve. He has produced an amazingly robust economy. He has done well by military veterans. His move to add a little Fair Trade to the NAFTA disaster has produced positive results. Fair Trade being an issue once championed by “Progressives” like Dennis Kucinich and Howard Dean. He has proven that humanoid excrement like Qassem Solemani make great drone targets. Hated and adored by the emotionally motivated and at least appreciated by their intellectually driven counterparts, Donald Trump has one thing going for him if nothing else. He gets shit done. That’s something very new to American politics. Trump’s not going anywhere but up.

Donald Trump has managed to accomplish many times beyond the last several Presidents. Barack Obama was just slightly better than totally useless. George W. Bush destroyed our economy and caused the deaths of over 40’000 of our service people and countless civilians in Iraq. Bush/Cheney gave birth to the vicious political divide we now suffer from. Clinton did more bad than good. Bush 1 was a nice guy but ineffective as a leader. Reagan won the Cold War, did little else than make bad movies. Donald Trump has brought a Libertarian flair and honesty to a Republican party that has long been, and in many ways still is, an absolute joke. He has brought an Apolitical attitude to a Democratic party turned Socialist control freak.

I promise you, history will look upon this President with a warm smile, and his most ardent detractors, with pure disdain.

Monuments such as those in Memphis that are the focus of Neo-Liberal outrage are intended to honor fallen soldiers. Soldiers, you worthless trollop, never had the luxury of owning slaves. Only the poor go to fight. Still to this day. Granted, Jefferson Davis was a slave trader. But then again, so was everyone else on this planet in those days. Including twelve of our Chief Executives:

Zachary Taylor, who served from 1849-1850, was the last chief executive to keep enslaved people while living in the White House. He owned some 150 enslaved workers on plantations in Kentucky, Mississippi and Louisiana.

The last president to personally own enslaved people was Ulysses S. Grant, who served two terms between 1869 and 1877. The former commanding general of the Union Army had kept a lone black slave named William Jones in the years before the Civil War, but gave him his freedom in 1859.

As diabolical as slavery is, and was, all the revisionist history in the world cannot erase certain facts…. 1) There was slavery in the world from one end to the other since recorded history. Africans also owned slaves, who they proceeded to sell into bondage often to the Spaniards and others. 2) Anthony Johnson. A black Angolan ex-slave who was one of, if not the first, American to legally own slaves. 3) Slave ships sailed under the American Flag. Not the confederate banner. 4) Racism was ingrained in people throughout the world. Not just here. In fact according to this debate speech by Abraham Lincoln, he was the quintessential white supremacist.

This is the sad thing about those who think they can rewrite, or even erase history by removing certain monuments. They fail miserably to even know the history of their misgivings. It seems a thorough assessment is not necessary. Just enough twisting and lying to make African Americans hate people they have no reason to hate and to subscribe to the Democratic “don’t worry, vote for us, we’ll do your thinking for you and all you have to do is put on your blinders and hate hate hate”.

This false narrative about war memorials standing for anything other than honoring the dead is probably one of the most pathetic attempts to deceive. Hey, things change, and all of a sudden I find the reasons that I dumped the Dems so numerous that I found it necessary to compile a list. So for those who have inquired….

First of all, the first time I ever voted for president was in 1984. I voted for Mondale/Ferraro. There’s nothing I hate more than losing via complete and total wipeout. Realistically, It started when Bill Clinton signed the Crime Bill of 1994 which basically nullified the Bill of Rights. That’s where NSA Spying came from, the death of our Fourth Amendment. That’s why Red Flag Laws pop up, gun enthusiasts only think they have Second Amendment Rights. Fact is, there is no Second Amendment. Clinton and Right Wing Extremists opened the package and exposed the contents to air. I’ll despise Bill Clinton for the rest of my life. And he deserves it as much as any other Constitution hater.

Then comes Barack Obama. The savior we longed for after eight years of the natural disaster known as Bush/Cheney. Never should have trusted a Chicago politician. All those campaign promises designed to suck the ballot-happy life out of “Progressive” voters. Obama became the king of half-assed effort. Health Care…could have slam dunked Single Payer in the first two years due to Democrats literally controlling the entire government. But, instead we got Insurance reform (more power given insurance companies) and a fine for refusing to obey the King…. And millions of people who still cannot afford health care. One minute Obama was saying “There is no NSA Spying”, and trying to justify same the next. From “hopey changey” to just another greedy career politician. A failure in so many ways. A Drug War supporter. The worst kind of vermin.

Then, of course, the constant abysmal failures of the Tennessee Democratic Party to stand for Progressive values, and constantly suck Right Wing Weenie, made me ill on a daily basis. The TNDP….An order of Escargot has more backbone.

Altogether, since Bill Clinton, I have watched the Democratic party slowly descend into the deepest darkest depths of idiocy and dishonor. Once champions of moral and intellectual progress they are now antithetical to themselves. Spewers of lies. Purveyors of complete and total bullshit and showing no sign of repair. Much less remorse. As big an asshole as Donald Trump can be, Democrats (Neo Liberal, borderline Communists) have become worse. Far worse. The party has completely and totally lost direction. In fact, it wouldn’t be too far fetched to state that the Center of the Republican party is the new “Progressive” movement.

Closer to Libertarian than Right Wing Republican, they were the first to file legislative efforts to legalize Marijuana and to actually instigate Corrections Reform. Supportive of environmental stability, the Constitution of the United States, State’s Rights and Fair Trade. Fair Trade, once being a stalwart Progressive issue, Democrats now complain about laying tariffs on China when they once championed the Idea. It’s sad. The Democrats were once the Labor Party. The champions of the working American and Labor Union strength. They no longer even speak of the working American. They rally behind the lazy-asses that don’t have a work ethic to speak of. Just the insatiable desire to have everything given to them for “free”. “FREE!” The mere utterance is all it takes for a Democratic politician to score a good chunk of votes.

Yeah, the new Democratic platform. “Free” everything, free college, free trade, Reparations (“free money for racists”), free borders, free whatfuckingever your little heart desires. They’ve become idiots. Plain and simple. They lie and demand the impossible….and somehow manage to convince themselves it’s all going to happen. Bad news, folks. You’ve conned yourselves, America saw it, you have no credibility as a result.

They screamed that Trump stated that there were good people among the Nazi filth that crashed a rally in support of historical Confederate monuments. A concocted CNN lie that has now been exposed. Trump said there were “good people on both sides of the monument issue”. The Nazi filth were not the subject. CNN is a disgrace that has become the new FOX NEWS. FOX, though still non-credible, are more so than CNN today. Trump told those four twits in congress to go back to the failed places they came from. Xenophobic? Sure. But not at all “racist”. Xenophobic and Patriotic often go hand in hand. Then there’s the Media Slight-of-Hand concerning immigration. In reality, Donald Trump has praised immigrants, though the media and desperate Democratic politicians accuse him by removing the word “illegal” from the context. He has condemned “Illegal Immigrants” Not “Immigrants”.

The youthful, the uneducated and easily confused, the desperate, the poor, the unemployed and underpaid. Democrats now prey upon the people they once championed. Making promises they know they can’t keep (or have no intention of keeping) to solicit votes. In the mean time, while Dems make fools of themselves in debate and on the House floor, Donald Trump and the political outsiders make strides in improving the economy, the labor force, the lives of average Americans.

The Democratic Party that once stood for the average person now stands for the hyper-sensitive, terminally offended, whiney-ass Mega-Socialists who, oddly enough, seem to enjoy a little Fascism at times.

The last thing we need in the White House is another capitulating, cowardly, politically correct asshat to make us look and actually be weak. Another Beltway-Insider that cares for no one other than themselves. The Status Quo.

I don’t care if Donald Trump is an asshole. Things are better. Fuck your feelings.
